Gift Couture is a start-up wrapping paper company that aims to offer high-quality wrapping paper sets that are creative, unique and innovative.
“We will produce unique papers that coordinate together into conceptualized themes and sets. This is exemplified in the Cheeseburger set that we chose to use as the initial project. This includes 5 different wrapping paper designs; a bun, hamburger, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, all of the components of a Cheeseburger!”
I really like the idea of using covers to make something look like another but at the same time making if look fake.
Noma Bar
Avinoam Noma Bar (born in 1973 in Israel) is a graphic designer, illustrator and artist. Describing his craft as visual communication, combining the skills of artist, illustrator and designer, Noma states he's "After the maximum communication with minimum elements”.
I like his works because so much information is communicated through very simple graphics, and they are very powerful at reflecting problems and what is happening out there in the world.
There are a lot of collage artist now but I really like Julian Paucaud's work as it has a vintage feel to the image, also the well use of geometric shapes add elements of modern image making details into the image.
Alison Carmichael is a typography artist, who I think work really well combining her typographic with the surrounding environment or using the environment as a medium.
