Silence.

I picked these pictures because music notes are something that we expect to visualize and present sound, however I have not really thought about how they would look like when there is no sound.

A film about the invisible life-force.

Vietnamese born artist Duy Huynh creates poetic acrylic paintings inspired by stories drawn from ancient folklore, comic books, film, and music.

Inspired by the dazzle paintings of Edward Wadsworth and powered by the energetic music of The Glitch Mob.

Exploring the tension between Surface and Volume. One gives birth to the other as white lines rise from black space and give shape to invisible structures that are driven by sound.

Silent films are one of the best way to showcase situation and performance without sound, but still making the audiences understand what is happening.

silent film is a film with no synchronized recorded sound, especially with no spoken dialogue. In silent films for entertainment the dialogue is transmitted through muted gestures, mime and title cards. The idea of combining motion pictures with recorded sound is nearly as old as film itself, but because of the technical challenges involved, synchronized dialogue was only made practical in the late 1920s with the perfection of the Audion amplifier tube and the introduction of the Vitaphone system.

The Noises of Art, presenting music notes, which are different sounds by hand movements.

The space Within

The medium of Ajay Malghan’s photography is food, Malghan’s photography explores the myriad worlds of food’s complexity hiding just beyond its seeming simplicity. It is inspiring how there are so much amazing textures around as, and many of them we do not even realise.

order.

First I look at ways to arrange things, by putting them in a set rules of order, book by Ursus Wehrli, the art of clean up, showing his obsession with order, Wehrli humorously categorizes everyday objects and situations by color, size, and shape. He arranges alphabet soup into alphabetical order, sorts the night sky by star size, and aligns sunbathers' accoutrements—all captured in bright photographs sure to astonish even the pickiest of neat freaks.

Non alphabetical order

Voskuil’s work transcends the boundaries between the processes of design, sculpture, painting and installation art. Constructing his own stretcher frames, he manipulates the wood into organic curves and geometric shapes, then stretches linen over the forms, creating a spatially three-dimensional artwork. These minimalist canvases, painted solid white or with large monochrome shapes, create a dynamic surface without the need for further ornamentation or narrative.

Chaos And Order

In this image I found the interesting concept of contrast, the work is called order and chaos, I think it is very interesting to see the contrast between order, and disorder, and how they could interact and transform into each other.

Movement is the central means of expression in my work. The changing structures that appear move in the transitional area between chaos and order, between variability and uniformity, between volatility and consistency. As a reconciliation of opposites.

Interact.

Daan Roosegaarde utilizes performance and video to develop his interactive art pieces. He also often asks his viewers to participate in his pieces by contributing their body movements. For example, his installation, enter:hektor had participants chasing projected words with their arms and bodies in order to trigger spoken word in the space.

Take one look at the work of Aakash Nihalani and you will see the essence of what art is: the ability to catch someone's attention at a moment's notice. Nihalani uses bright, bold lines at the forefront of all of his art as a means of visually creating 3D images on two-dimensional surfaces. The repetition of isometric squares and rectangles becomes visually pleasing to the eye, conveying complexities such as movement and space by something so simple as the placement of a line.

All of Nihalani's works, whether they be indoors, outdoors, or through collaboration, are visually striking messages, capturing motion and space through varied media such as sculpture, painting, print, or by interactive means.
